Ubit “the Builder”
they've been partners for two days
It’s been two days and Ubit (5) is still curious. A worker is mending the aisle in front of our house. First day, he kept asking almost the same questions to this fellow worker: “Ini jalannya lagi diapain? Kapan selesainya? Itu kenapa digali terus?—What are you doing to the street? When will it done? Why do you keep digging?”
Today, there is no question. He just keep wandering and “helping” Pak Oman, the worker, getting water, cleaning up mess, and digging holes using his mini spade. Later, his sister joined them carrying a spatula.
