Ubit taught mom drawing. He even gave her a star for the effort. Do you think it’s time to learn human anatomy? :-d

Spaghetti Seller
We start learning addition and subtraction (1-20). We used anything inside and outside the house. Using rubber bands, Ubit is now still pretending to be a spaghetti seller. He offers 3 flavors: chili, tomato sauce, and blueberry. It’s his restaurant anyway.
I prefer him learn the concept other than the symbol of the numbers. No writing this time. No big deal. The only “trouble” is our helpful little princess. She is only 2 yo but so eager “helping” her brother counting, that eventually makes him upset.
Conclusion: It seems that Ubit is having fun. That’s why he doesn’t wanna be disturbed.
Who am I ?
While exploring alphabet at http://www.starfall.com/ , Ubit paid much attention to the dancing astronout. I was curious whether he understands this outerspace profession.
Ibu: “Ubit tahu ga, astronot itu kerja di mana?” (Do you know where an astronout works?)
Ubit: “Yaaaa….di Cimahi, laaaah…” (Ummmm….in Cimahi, of course—Cimahi is our town, and recently we talk about our address).
Bad question, open answer :-d
Concerning himself, Ubit has learned about his family. We practiced good Indonesian through role play. Mom acted as a physician interviewing Ubit, the patient. Interview about personal information helped Ubit understanding the member of his family, his address, phone number, healthy life, and again….his heart! Soon, Ubit and his brothers and sister built an imaginary hospital in our bedroom.
My Heart-2
Still curious about his heart, Ubit explored this vital organ by doing free printable worksheet form American Heart Association. It’s amazing. This site explains heart in simple and fun ways.
He firmly believes that heart is in the left side of the chest. Dad asked him to show where his heart is. This young boy listened to Dad’s heartbeat. Giggling, Ubit said, “Jantung Ubit dan Ibu di sebelah kiri. Tapi (jantung) Bapak di sebelah kanan.” (My heart and Mom’s are in the left side. But Dad’s is in the right (one).”
Smart answer.
My Heart-1
This morning, as usual, Ubit woke up, sat on my lap and hugged me. He suddenly said, “Tuh, jantung ibu kedengeran…(I can hear your heart, Bu). We then learnt about heart–even without brushing teeth. We learned good and bad food for heart, and the danger of tobacco. At the end of the interactive and useful explanation, he got a printable certificate stating that he has learned about the heart and how to take care of it.
My Name

Ubit learns that computer is also for writing (not typing), and it’s fun. In this case, he used the simple “paint” program.
Where does my “Pee” Come from?

Ubit started his Home Education by discussing about himself. We decide to explore something really ours, our own body. After a short discussion, he suddenly asked permission to go the bathroom. He wanna pee. This young boy was curious, where his “pee” came from. My Body has several cartoon movies that help us understand this bathroom stuff. He then ask many questions about “pee” and “poo” and I answer them by clicking the menus. He may merely enjoy the movie rather than the explanations. But it counts.
First Step
Bismillah…
This is my first step of Home Education program for my third son, Muhammad Ruzbi Anvari or Ubit (5 yo).
I really want to give him a chance to be a happy kid, who can play every time he learn something. May our home become a blessed one, that help us educate our family, amin.
